Neuron’s safety-first e-scooters have landed in Saskatoon!

Locals and visitors of Saskatoon will now have access to a safe, convenient and environmentally-friendly way to travel across the city

We have been selected by the City of Saskatoon to launch Saskatchewan’s first shared e-scooter program. Beginning today, the first of our 250 safety-first e-scooters will be gradually rolled out to cover key areas of the city including downtown Saskatoon, Broadway District, Riversdale, and Varsity View.

Neuron’s selection in the city follows a strong track record of partnering with cities, and our leadership and commitment to safety and innovation. Saskatoon will bring the number of Neuron’s Canadian cities to 15, following recent launches in Alberta including Lacombe, Sylvan Lake and Blackfalds.

Neuron partners with the Traffic Injury Research Foundation (TIRF) to promote e-scooter safety and research in Canada. Users can visit our online riding school, ScootSafe Academy, for their local riding rules and earn free credits for future rides. Our Safety Ambassadors will also be out in greater numbers during the launch period to equip new riders with the confidence to safely ride and park our vehicles.

Riders will also benefit from a range of pioneering safety innovations including: world’s first integrated helmets (it is legal requirement to wear a helmet); voice guidance; topple detection; a 911 emergency button, and a ‘Follow my Ride’ function for added peace of mind. Advanced geofencing technology will also control where e-scooters are ridden and parked, and how fast they can travel in certain areas.

To ride a Neuron, simply unlock and use the e-scooters through our user-friendly app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play and set up in a matter of minutes.
