Neuron riders surpass 2 million kilometres travelled in Canada!

Riders in Calgary are leading the country, having travelled more than 1 million kilometres since Neuron launched in the city last year

We’re celebrating some big milestones in Canada! Neuron riders have now travelled more than 2 million kilometres across our six Canadian cities since last year! Thanks to our amazing city partners and riders, this has helped avoid an estimated 170 tonnes of CO2 emissions by replacing car journeys.

Neuron entered the Canadian market in May 2021, and has quickly emerged as a leading e-scooter operator now operating in Ottawa, Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Airdrie and Vernon. Calgary, Lethbridge, and Vernon riders now also have the option of using Neuron e-bikes.

Neuron riders in Calgary have led the way when it comes to adopting micromobility into their daily lives. Of the total kilometres travelled in Canada to date, Calgary riders have travelled more than 1 million kilometres on Neuron e-scooters since our launch in the city last year. We’re proud to be a part of Calgary’s multi-year program, which illustrates how impactful a shared micromobility program can be as a strategic part of the city’s transportation network.

We look forward to many more exciting Canadian ridership milestones ahead!
