Neuron concludes a successful first riding season in Lethbridge!

We thank our riders for choosing our e-scooters and e-bikes for a safe, convenient and environmentally way to travel

We are wrapping up our first shared e-scooter and e-bike riding season in Lethbridge, with the last day of service set for November 28. We thank the City of Lethbridge, the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce and our riders for embracing Neuron as the city’s micromobility program grows in popularity.

Since launching in April 2022, riders in Lethbridge have travelled 430,000 kilometres on our e-scooters and e-bikes. With 52% of Neuron trips replacing a car journey, 36 tonnes of CO2 emissions were avoided. Extending the range of our riders, we expanded the riding area on three occasions to include North Lethbridge, portions of the city’s trail system in the River Valley, and most recently, Lethbridge College campus.

The economic impact of Neuron e-scooters was evident in Lethbridge, too. Six out of 10 trips resulted in a purchase at a local business which amounts to an estimated $3.2 million spent. For a more detailed look at how Neuron e-scooters are helping drive the local economy, check out our 2022 Canada Prosperity Report

We’re proud of the positive impact Neuron vehicles have made on the local communities and are happy to help tens of thousands of people in Lethbridge get around in a safe, convenient and environmentally-friendly way.

Thank you to our city partners and riders for an incredible riding season in Lethbridge!
