Neuron further expands Lethbridge riding area!

Neuron extends riding zone to include portions of the city’s trail system in the River Valley

Our e-scooter and e-bike riding area is expanding into the River Valley to include the trails leading up to important tourism and cultural destinations such as the Helen Schuler Nature Centre, Fort Whoop-Up, and Indian Battle Park in the River Valley.

To help keep the pathways safe for all users, vehicle speeds will be capped at 15 kms/h via a Slow Speed Zone that is indicated in the Neuron app. Parking will initially be available in select zones within the pathway system at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre and near the playground northwest of the Baroness Picnic Shelter. Riders are reminded to park and ride responsibly by giving way to others and keeping the paths clear.

Lethbridge’s e-scooter and e-bike program has been embraced by locals and visitors since its launch in April 2022, and the riding area was expanded into North Lethbridge in under a month due to strong uptake. Thousands of Neuron riders having already travelled over 230,000 kilometres in the city to date. We’re excited to provide a new environmentally friendly way to explore the city’s beautiful trails and enjoy the outdoors this summer!
