In support of efforts to combat the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Neuron is offering a free monthly pass to the indispensable public health workers in Adelaide and Brisbane, to help them get where they are needed most.

The initiative will see e-scooters be positioned in locations that improve transport options for medical professionals, as most have no option but to continue travelling to work.

Public health workers will be able to activate the free monthly pass easily through the latest version of Neuron’s user-friendly app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Registration takes a matter of minutes. Visit the Rates & Passes page and verify your work email address to redeem a free Monthly Pass. Then a Neuron e-scooter can be unlocked and ridden straight away.

Safety is Neuron’s top priority, this is borne out both in its e-scooters, which have been designed for sharing and safety, and also in how we operate them. We have already introduced a range of measures to help protect riders and employees from catching and spreading COVID-19. These include extra sanitisation of e-scooters during daily maintenance, deployment and battery swapping. For Neuron staff, extra sanitisation practices and revised illness and travel policies have also been introduced.
