Helmet Safety Awareness Week is back for its fifth year! From 22 to 28 September, we’re giving away up to $100,000 in free rides and rewards to riders who pledge to wear a helmet.

This year’s message is simple: “Take the pledge: wear a helmet, snap a selfie, and ScootSafe.”

Here’s how we are encouraging our riders to get involved:

• Take the pledge: Use promo code HELMETPLEDGE to enjoy free e-scooter unlocks and 20% off every trip for 30 days.
• Snap a helmet selfie: Earn up to 50c off each trip when you submit an in-app helmet selfie.
• Meet our Safety Ambassadors: They’ll be out at popular hotspots rewarding helmet-wearers, sharing riding tips, and encouraging safe riding.

Helmets are one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent serious injuries in the unlikely event of an accident.
